Disney Visa / Key to the World ?

I have what kinda feels like a stupid question but I like to make sure I have all of my facts straight before planning my budget, I apoligize if this has been covered before I couldn't find the answer.

If I have them hook my Disney Visa to my Key to the World card, with the hotel booking on 6 months no interest, will purchases made on the card during my stay also be 6 months no interest? (with minimum payments of course).

We did this in September and I'm pretty sure it was not 0% interest for 6 months for the charges during the stay. I no longer have a copy of the statement, but I'm pretty sure it was a normal charge.

Thank You, I was just curious. Never hurts to have that extra time to pay just in case of an emergency.

We got 6 months no interest on the package price. I can't remember about charges at the hotel but I believe it was too.

IMPORTANT!!! If you buy items at gift shops, you will get a discount on the purchases (10%, I think) but you must pay with your Disney Chase Visa at the gift shop AND ask for the discount..... the discount is not automatic.

If you charge purchases using the key to the world card, and pay that with your Visa at checkout... you do not get the discount.

Big Thanks for that tip, I had thought about it, but since we love to pick up souveniers I'll def just take my card. That 10 % will mean alot overall.

How about if I use my KTTW card for all purchases, can I then use my Disney Rewards card to pay off my balance on the KTTW card at the end of the trip?
-Do the carts allow you to use your KTTW card for payment ?

I am not sure about using rewards card to pay the bill on your card at the end.....but I wouldn't see why not. I have used it towards the cost of the room.

I would guess the carts would take them if they take credit cards...but again not sure. (Gee, I am not much help today......sorry!)

Yes, you can apply your Disney rewards to your room account for all your charges to the room. Just go down the day before checkout and give them the rewards card. Almost all the carts in the parks accept KTTW cards.

The only place I know of that you can get the 10% discount is the World of Disney store in Downtown DIsney (maybe Disneystore too). I think the minimum purchase is $50 and you cannot buy a gift card/movies, and a few other things.
