Hi all,

Does anyone know, if I pay for my trip using my Disney Visa, do I earn double points, like I would at WDW? Otherwise, I assume that it count's as "Travel" if I paid with my Chase Sapphire card?

While in the parks can I charge back to my room like WDW? Staying at Hotel New York.

I'm posting this here and on the Budget board in case someone has the answer. Trying to maximize rewards.

Never mind, now that I think about it, the rewards wouldn't make up for the foreign transaction fee, so...I'll go with the sapphire and assume/hope it counts as travel.

I booked a package with another credit card (not the Chase Disney Visa) and it came through as some code that wasn't considered to be travel, so I just received 1X points. I forget the exact wording that the agent told me when I called to inquire about my points, but it was something like "promotions". I had to call the bank and plead my case to get the 3X points for travel. Yes, I finally got them, after I asked for a supervisor. My other card waives the foreign transaction fee as well as awards 3X points for travel.

You can charge back to your room, just have your card logged at reception and they give you a pass to show in shops and most restaurants

Disney Visa's do not offer any additional benefits in Europe. That is only in the US, this has to do with the issuing bank as well as the fact that DLP is not owned fully by the Walt Disney Company.
