Disney Visa Gift Card?

I want to give my children spending money when we go to WDW. I'd like to do a Visa/Mastercard gift card but I was wondering if there were any available with a Disney logo on them like the Visa Credit card? I don't want to do just a Disney gift card because I want them to be able to use it at other places along the way if they want to.

Before you get a Visa/MC gift card, check the fees. I've read that those fees can really add up, esp. if the gift card isn't used in a certain amount of time.

Store gift cards don't usually have fees.

Can't you just put it on their hotel room key thing? That is if your staying at the world.
Also, ever notice how easy it is to go over your spending limit when using credit cards, and how hard it is to part with actual cash? For kids, I would go with you holding their cash, and giving it out when they need it. That way they can see exactly how much is left daily. Not knowing how old your kids are, you could put the money in an envelop with disney stickers or something to make it more festive!

I have five kids and I would go crazy trying to remember who spent what and trying to keep up with their balance. I will definitely get them a Visa card of some kind, I may even be able to open a small account for them somewhere and get an actual debit card. I just thought it would be fun for them if they had one that had a Disney theme like the Disney credit card does. And we are staying in a time share condo and not on Disney property so they can't charge with a key.

That makes complete sense - five kids and staying off property.

Since Chase distributes the Disney Visa credit card, maybe you could check with Chase?

Just in case any one else is interested...this is what I have decided to do. I opened up a Paypal account in my childrens' names. After the paypal account has been active for 3 months they will issue a debit card. I can put in the amount that I want to give them and it is easy to transfer money to if we need to while on vacation. Then, if there is money left over, I can easily get it out again and there are no fees involved. I might even start using this as a way to pay them for their chores so I don't have to worry about going to the bank to get cash all the time.
