Anyone know if free stroller rental is still a benefit of the Disney Visa card? I have searched their site and called them this morning. Nothing is mentioned on the site and the person I talked to couldn't confirm it. He said I would get my complete list of benefits after I was a cardmember.

I don't want to even apply for the card if this isn't a certain benefit. Anyone know for sure? Thanks in advance.

You can get up to TWO free stroller rentals daily with your Disney Visa. :thumbsup2

Yes, you still get free stroller rentals. I got my reward newsletter and it still stated it, and it also states it here:

www.disneyrewards.com

That is the official website and tells you about the program.

If you look at the coupon section of Birmbaum's Disneyland guide, there's a code for a$50 disney gift card with application & approval. I can't seem to find my book otherwise, I'd have posted the code.

Thanks everyone for the proper links and information. You were a great help!:goodvibes

Make sure if you get the Visa to get 2 cards - my mom and I each have one on her account - if you need another person just think relative. In addition to the stroller rental, you get a free 5x7 picture voucher for EACH card each time you go to the meet and greet at Ariels Grotto in DCA between 10am and 11:30pm (2 vouchers per day). They had either Chip and Dale or Mickey and Pluto each time I went. The pictures are great and the character interaction is fabulous. They will scan your picture on photopass (a card that any photographer can give you that tracks all your pictures) and when you are ready to get your pictures, you go to Greetings from California in DCA with you photopass. You pick out ANY pictures - not just meet and greet picutes - that were taken from BOTH parks (all will be on photopass) and give the counter cast member your vouchers (tell them ahead of choosing pictures that you're using coupons). I paid nothing for pictures on my vacation and got great shots. This is golden!

Strollers were great too, got 2 per day. Lines were soooo long in the morning - over 30 min wait. We often walked a little in DL and went over for the picture voucher at DCA and got the stroller there. You have to get the free stroller at the entrance (not available in Tomorrowland) and the person whose name is on the card must take id and card. No older kids helping out on this one. I wished I would've taken 1 stroller from home for certain situations like leaving in the evening, walking to DTD, etc. We got 2 each day and now they let you take them back and forth between parks before DL closes.

Also, you get a 10% discount at certain locations which come in handy for the character breakfast.

Disneyland
Rancho del Zocalo
Carnation Café
Redd Rockett’s Pizza Port
possibly French Market Café??

Disney’s California Adventure
Pizza Oom Mow Mow
Wine Country Trattoria
The Vineyard Room

Disneyland Resort Hotels
Granville’s Steakhouse (from 6:00 pm -10:00 pm only)
Yamabuki
Disney’s PCH Grill (Lilo Character Breakfast)

Hope this wasn't too much info but "don't leave home without it" applies to this card at DL!

FYI...

Got our free strollers all last week. What a deal.

When we did the meet n greet, there were 3 adults and 2 kids in our party and we had 3 cards between all of us.

The CM told us and the family behind us that each GROUP coming down could only have 1 free picture coupon regardless of how many cards we had. It was a bummer since my mom wanted her picture by herself and then we did one of the kids. Oh well, still a deal, just wish we had used it each day.

I can't imagine someone not telling you the benefits of the Visa card..One would think it would be an incentive for a person to get one..
I have a Disney Visa..but the reason I got one was I got a commercial in the mail last year..telling me the benefits of being a card holder when you go to the park..and..yes..stroller rental is still one of the perks...

I can confirm that you have to rent your stroller at the main gate to get it free with the VISA not at Tomorrowland. We ran into this last week. In Feb. I was able to rent it in Tomorrowland for free too. Not sure why the change but the line at the gate was HUGE and it was worth it to me not to have to stand in it and pay the $10 at Tomorrowland.

Yes..this is true..you can't get it free in Tomorrowland..but last July when I went I couldn't get it free in Tomorrowland either..The CM told me they didn't have the set up to do it for free...

Don't forget you can get the free stroller in DCA where the lines aren't as long.

Oh they put the stroller rental back in DCA..I am so glad..last summer there was the one spot outside of MK..(not counting the one that isn't for free at Tomorrowland) When you were staying in the resorts..one person had to leave the park..get the strollers..then go back in..It was a pain...

I understand that they put the stroller rental in the esplanade (instead of individually inside DL and DCA) during the high peak periods (Christmas week, Spring Break, etc.) to relieve congestion at the entrance near the right tunnel. Any other time, you should find the rentals just inside the gates of both DL and DCA.
