Disney Visa Epcot Lounge Questions

Hey everyone,

Firstly, is this still a thing that's going on? We've never done it before we are new card members. Is it still in Innoventions?

Is it worth even going out of our way here if we're already paying for the Memory Maker package? Which characters are at this location, and is there anything special to do other than the meet and greet?

Any pics anyone has to illustrate as well would be appreciated!

Oh I thought you meant the chase lounge for visa holders in the upstairs of the American pavilion at world showcase during food & wine. We did the chase character photo meet thing two years ago at innoventions. It was good . . . I think it was Mickey, Goofy, Pluto, and Donald. We got memory maker last year and never did the visa character photo that year. We had so many opportunities with memory maker that we didn't bother. However since they closed some of that building, I'm not sure if they are still offering it or maybe it has relocated.

We did it last week, it was a large AC'd building with a row of video games and the character room. My children loved playing the games in a nice cool area, we waited about 10 minutes and saw Mickey and Goofy. It is my favorite pic of the trip. My friends went later and saw Minnie and Pluto.

ETA The character interaction was fantastic, my teenagers thought it was great!

I really enjoy the character meet and greet and do make sure to stop every time I am at Epcot, especially the trips I have Memory Maker. The biggest plus for me is that you get two characters all to yourself without others even watching (except for possibly the party directly after you standing off to the side). I have never felt pressured to have a quick interaction with the characters, either. Plus you get a free 5x7 print of one of your photos.

your pictures are great! In all the years we have been going to WDW we have never done this and always had the Disney visa when do you get the free 5x7?

You go to the camera center under Spaceship Earth to get your pic. You can customize it with borders/signatures before printing.

Awesome guys, thanks for the replies! Sounds like a quick way to meet Mickey and Pals without having to do the long regular queues. Even with Memory Maker, I think we'll still do this, Thanks!

Did this today and it's still in Innoventions. We had Mickey & Goofy and we like the 5x7 even with Memory Maker.

We love the Visa Meet and Greet! It is totally worth it. My icon picture is from there! Mickey decided to take a selfie of us .

We do the Visa Meet and Greet every time we are in WDW and we did it in WDL this past February too. The character interaction is great and it is a nice way to cool off and relax for a few minutes. Plus who doesn't love a free picture??? We will definitely be doing it again when we go next month!

You are eligible for one free photo per day, per account. Since we have the credit and the debit, we get two free photos each day we go to Epcot.

Hooray! We'll probably be hitting Epcot around 3 times during our week long visit, so we'll make sure we hit this up each time. Hopefully we can get lucky and catch 3 of them as well one of those times.

My question is we forgot to pick up the picture but it's loaded on my photo pass. Is it still possible to get it free as a download? Can I go back to Epcot and pick it up now 3 days later? Can you pick it up at another park?

Not officially. You might find a CM that will do it, but most will not.

You can only do that if you still have your voucher that the CM gave you.

I definitely agree with the previous posters. It's nice to get out of the heat and have some private time with characters. We usually go during a slower time of year and have no wait to go see them. Our past experiences we've been with them for 10 or so minutes. Great way to get quality character interaction time and a nice family photo!
