Long-time DVC members:

Is a DVC discount common for Disney Visa card holders?

I’m relatively new to DVC but eyeing the Disneyland Hotel and wondering if I should get the card…just in case.

I feel like this is the first time I seen it in the past few years. But I did use the Disney visa to get the 6 month defer interest when buying direct.

I contacted my guide to inquire about what incentives were available on Riviera and Grand Flo. Apparently, the Disney Visa Card offer is for 250 points minimum and doing the math, the incentive appears to be an additional $5 per point,

I was only looking to add on a few points….

Seems strange. If I put 250 points in the add-on tool, I save $6,500.

Wow, that's great! I'm not buying direct at this point as we already have a blue card, but I'm always watching to see what the deals are LOL!

I am curious. Does the offer require the purchase be put on the card? Or one merely has to be a cardholder?

You just have to be a cardholder, we just did this and although we did put it on the card to get the rewards points, there was no requirement to do so. We just had to show we had the card.
