Disney Visa discout @ DTD World of Disney?

In the past when we shopped at World of Disney in DTD all we had to do to get the discount was to show our visa.

Now this past summer when we shopped in the Disneyland DTD we had to actually USE our visa to purchase the items to get the discount.

Does anyone know how they do it in WDW DTD?

WDW reguires you actually use your Disney card and spend at least $50 to get a 10% discount. This discount is for merchandise not food. The credit card also saves money on some back stage tours, up to 15% off the stated price.

correct...you have to use the card...kind of a bummer if you have any gift cards, but I think you could use some of it on gift card & some on Disney visa.
