Disney Visa deal?

Did anyone check today to find out what the Disney Visa Card deal was? It was supposedly taking effect on 9/3.

I called this morning and the CM said that the rates were indeed out. As far as CBR go, the rates seem the same as the AP rates but are only available for Florida residents.

If someone lives in FL this would be a good deal if they did not need an AP.

I just asked for the Disney Visa room discount. I have not yet received my Visa statement this month, so I don't know if they will be posted in there or not. She let me know the rate and I was about to change my reservations from AP to the Visa rate (it was the same for the CBR for my dates of travel). I did not realize that the rate was only FL residents. While I was on hold, I saw a post on this board where someone mentioned that if was only for FL residents. When she came back and told me that my reservations had been switched, I asked and she verified that yes it was a FL resident rate. Since I'm not a FL resident, I left my reservations as is using the AP rate.

To answer your question, the rate I was quoted was $617 for 7 nights for CBR. I did not need a code.

My current offer was for $50 Disney Dollars when you book a value resort package for $99 per adult per night. There is also one for earning double Disney dollars at Disney store when you spend $100 or more on Disney Visa. Since I booked rooms at Poly and AKL concierge at an AP rate, I have to buy an AP pass. Here I come, Disney Store! There are also special rates from Alamo. Weekly rate for fullsize is $179.99, $37.99 daily. I think it was about 12.99/hr. for each extra hour. So if there is a 4 hour time difference, you're paying for another day. Taxes and fees were around $50.
