Disney Visa Credit Card- Useful or Not?

I only got a Disney visa for the $250 Disney gift card at the time when I opened it after a $500 spend because I had a Disney trip coming up. I only use it when I have an upcoming trip. Otherwise, my SW visa is my card of choice. I don't churn cards and only have two and find the SW card is much more useful for me.

Update: I hit my $500 spending amount for the bonus offer, and the $200 was credited right away! So that was cool.

I also feel dumb cause I spent more time than necessary wondering why my balance was $200 less than it should have been. Sigh.

We signed up for the premier card in May of last year. We’ve been charging pretty much everything we can to it, and then paying the entire balance off at the end of the month. In doing this, we’ve racked up over $1200 in Disney points in about 15 months. We aren’t big credit card people - previously we’d use rarely as we paid for everything with our debit card, so for us it was worth the extras on this card (vs using another card).
We will be in Disney in less then two weeks, and plan to take advantage of the special character meets in Epcot and HS, and the 10% off merch discount. There are also discounts for 2 restaurants we have ADR’s at. We’ll also have a good chunk of ‘bonus money’ outside of what we budgeted for to spend in the park.

I could go read but I will ask too! My husband and I both have the regular disney visa card. Can we each apply for the premier and get the $250 statement credit?
