Disney Visa Character Meets

Hi all- we recently got the Disney Visa (and already love using it)! We were wondering how it works for the exclusive character meets. Do you have a private area you head to? Do you just show your card to get in? Do they have it in the open? Just looking for some details so we understand before we head into one.

There's 2..one at Epcot, one at HS.

You show your card and I believe it's good for the cardholder and up to 3 other people.

Epcot is usually Mickey and a few friends (the 2 or 3 you meet can vary), HS is Kylo Ren.

The one in Epcot in Future World is a private spot where you will have to show your Visa to enter, and I think you can have up to 6 people. It is usually two of the Fab five - I think we had Mickey and Goofy. You used to get a free print, but now it is added to magic band by Photopass (but still free to download if you don't buy Memory Maker.) There is another designated character spot in Future World with Baymax, and one with Joy and Sadness in Epcot, but these are not included.

In HS, there is a special line to meet Kylo Ren in the Launch Bay, sort of a FP with your Visa, since you don't have to wait in the regular line, so usually quicker. You have to wait in the regular line to meet Chewy.

The one at Epcot was great! No line so we walked right in and got to see Goofy, Mickey, and Minnie.

Where is the one in EPCOT now? It used to be in Innoventions.

It's now in the Imagination Pavilion, near where you head to see the Pixar shorts.

Ok thanks! I saw a line in the gift shop but I think that was for the new DVC lounge on the 2nd floor.

If you don't see any signs in either place, once you are near where you are supposed to be, ask a cm, and they'll get you there. I had to ask each time...And we went to the one in Launch Bay TWICE!!!

As you head up the incline to the Imagination Pavillion, it is to the left(beyond the fountain) I don't recall great signage, but then again, I don't recall it in the old location either.

Thanks alot! Now I know exactly where to go! And @marciemi that link is great! It's worth it to go see the queue area alone and the character meet is a bonus! Will definitely do this on our March trip!
