Hi, we booked our FP+ for the regular character spot. However, i am wondering how the waits are usually for the Visa cardholder line and also are there more or less characters for the Visa line? Are they the same characters? I've never been to the regular character spot, but it looks like you get to go from one character to the next. If we go to the Visa line, is it just one stop?

It is just one stop. Characters vary. There's usually 2-3. We had Mickey, Minnie and goofy last time. It's a great picture. They will print a 5x7 and even add borders for you, so in my opinion worth the extra stop. We also have FP for the regular one and plan on doing the visa one too. The line depends on the time of day, but it usually is just a few minutes.

At the Character Spot, you meet Mickey, Goofy, and Minnie, one at a time.

The Visa character meet as 2 of Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, or Pluto (you don't know which 2 till you are inside). You meet those 2 at the same time and you're done. The longest line we've had there is 20 minutes, but it's very nicely air conditioned and there are some benches and video games so we've taken turns waiting in the line. The photos are added to your MemoryMaker account, if you have one, and they'll print one 5x7 for you in the park (we've also had our printed at the photo place at DTD.)

The line was long when we went this time taking around 30 minutes in the Visa line, and the line to get the picture was around 30 minutes as well. I would suggest going early for the picture to try to go when the lines will be shorter.

we must have just got lucky last time, we got all 3 in our pic. Question though, if you said you had your picture printed in DTD, did you have to choose the visa picture, or could you pick any picture on your account?

Technically the voucher is supposed to be good only at the Epcot photo place, and only for pictures taken during the Visa M&G. Some CMs do look the other way and print other pictures, especially if all the Visa ones came out iffy, but the rules state Visa M&G 5x7 picked up at Epcot only. (Unless they changed them recently)

I think we could've picked any picture. They didn't seem to care. Not sure, though, since that is the picture we wanted. image.jpeg

Does anyone know the hours of the Visa spot? Does it stay open for all the park hours?

When we were there last week the line took about 15-20 minutes around 1:30pm and we got to see Minnie and Goofy. When it came to explaining the process about getting our free picture we were told that we could pick it up at any park, same day was preferred (but there's no time stamp on it so another day would be okay.) We thought about stopping after Illuminations that evening but the line was out the door. We were back at Epcot 2 days later and we stopped by in the mid-morning - there was no line and no problem getting the photo.

We tried to get a different photo but the CM said we had to pick one from the Visa shoot.

Also, if other people in your family have the cc, you can get a voucher for each cc. My daughter has a copy of my cc with her name on it and we were able to get 2 vouchers.
And you can go once each day.
