Disney Visa Card Holder discount for August/September

Is this new?? I just happened to see this on Mousesavers and called to see if I could apply to my existing reservation. I was able to modify my general public discount from last month to this new code and saved $45 I had originally booked POR with AAA, then switched to the general public code last month for $109 plus taxes....this new code got me POR at $99 plus taxes.

HeyIt'sMe: The previous discount code that was out through the end of Sept ended on July 27. Based on this I assumed that the discount code for Oct - Dec would be released the first week of August. With this new code out expiring on August 10th, I believe the Oct + discounts won't be released until after that.

hmmm...that's less than the quoted rates from Mousesavers.....when did you get your Disney Visa rate? I never, ever get emails from them advertising these specials. I only find out about them from DIS or Mousesavers

So my TA called and the only thing available for my dates was SSR in a 1 bedroom villa!! That's it, nothing else.

what are your dates of travel?? I was surprised I was able to add it to my existing reservation. I figured it would only be available at some resort we didn't want to go to.We are booked for 8/20 - 8/24 (then free dining after that)

My email... I don't know why or how, but I get emails about the discounts that Disney Visa offers for WDW. I can tell you everything I have done with Disney Visa since I got it.

I never spent a lot of money on it, just paid for gas and books for school. Booked my last WDW vacation on it. My dad questioned where I was spending my money so I went and printed off every statement for it since I got it. Then I stopped getting my statements. So I called and yelled for about 3 months until finally I got someone who knew something. And they told me that I had enrolled in paperless system when I printed out all those statements. (Of course I still wasn't getting the statements in my email either.) Then this year I started getting emails about the discounts that are out. I get discounts once in a while for the Disney Store also.

no need to apologize ...I honestly don't know how many rooms can be booked. I've only ever had to book one room at a time. Good question though...I'm sure someone here knows the answer

I called yesterday to see if I could apply the code to our stay at AKL (Aug. 11 - 16) and the (very nice) CM told me the only availability during that time was at CBR or value resorts.

I you go to the Chase/Disney site it lists the rates and the resorts that are available and also the dates that were released for this promotion. For deluxes in august it is OKW or SS on the weekends. The rates are equivalent to the AP rates.

Thanks for the heads up! Didn't have any luck at AKL, but I was able to knock my 4 nights at POR down to $99 a night.
