Disney Visa, another question

I applied for the Disney Visa and I know we will be approved, but how long does it take? I am wondering when people applied and when they heard back. I applied online, so will I hear something online or will they just mail me the card. I am looking forward to using my card when we go to Disneyland in a few weeks. I wonder if I call them if they can track it.

I got one also to book the cruise. They said it would take about 10 days. They wouldn't give me the number over the phone, but b/c I needed to make my deposit immediately, they did overnite (at no charge) me a card.

They will track it if you call!

Arrived in my mailbox about 12 days after I applied online.

Just got it yesterday and have already started racking in the rewards.

I've had my Disney Visa for about a year now. We were sent an offer this year that we got 2% back in Rewards from March 15-June 30 instead of the 1%. What timing! We just bought a new house and closed April 8th. In that 2 1/2 months we racked up $12,000 in expenses on the new house-blinds, sod, landscaping, furniture, etc... I'm saving my Rewards for our cruise next year. I figure we'll have earned enough by the time we go to pay for our spending on the ship!

We applied online and received our card in less than two weeks, that was in early June.

Thanks all! I applied less than a week ago, I believe. Glad to hear I should be getting it soon. Good job on putting all the housing expenses on the cc. We charge everything we can and then pay it off every month. It's amazing when you see how much it comes out to (and a bit scary).

I don't want to be the "party-pooper" in the group, but I just recieved mine in the mail, and it took about 6 weeks! I applied online, and about 3 weeks later, the bank sent me a letter asking me to confirm all of my info (for security reasons-which I appreciated!) After I mailed them proof, it took about another 3 weeks or so to get my card! Maybe that's not normal, but I ended up not being able to use it to book my cruise. Oh well, I guess a nice, new credit line will be good for all those excursions in September!

FYI, I just received our credit card--it took less than a week. It was just fun looking at the literature "Your guide to redeeiming Disney Dream Reward Dollars."
