Disney VISA and multiple add ons!

I just thought I would post to confirm what I learned from an earlier post, (thank you Sandisw!).

I purchased 320 points at BLT as an add on splitting the purchase into 3 contracts, 100, 100 and 120. I told my guide to just charge it to my Disney VISA card with the intent to pay it off when the bill arrived (receiving Disney reward points on the whole transaction). Well, the bill arrived and it shows 6 transactions. 3 at $2500 each for the deposit and 3 with the remaining balance on each contract. ALL of the transactions qualified for the 0% financing for 6 months! How cool is that. I think that breaking the add on into the 3 parts meant that each charge was below $10,000 and thus qualifies for the 0% financing. Another benefit of multiple contract add ons! I even waited a month to make sure I was not being charged interest, and I am not..

That's great!!! My newest add on, the 50 points I did in June, has also qualified so I am really happy.

This is a great way to defer the purchase and get reward points for those of us who could pay it off anyway.

Dh and I have been wanting to add on, sounds like this is the way to do it. We've always charged out DVC purchases to our Visa to get the points, but never had the 6 months interest free (always paid it off).
