Disney Visa and DVC

Ok this is probably a dumb question... I know when we purchased our dvc we were able to put what we were paying in Cash on our disney visa to get the points then pay it off... But we were told we could take adavantage of the 6 month disney visa deal like with Vacations...
So my question is, I am getting ready to add the dining plan and purchase the tickets today for our upcoming trip. If I use my Disney Visa do I get the 6 months or is that only with Packages? I am guessing its only the packages and purchasing DVC! either way its fine.. I just wanted my husband to know what he'd be paying at the end of the month if so!

We have never got the 6 months on tickets or dining plan. Only on the vacations prior to DVC that were packages, the cruise and when we have added on points thru Disney.

thats what I thought!! Thank you!! Just wanted the DH to be prepared for a big bill! LOL
