I have already signed up and I just received my Disney Visa in the mail. (I signed up mainly to get the $200 gift card offer.)

Does anyone know if my husband could also sign up for a card (separately) and also get the $200 gift card? I wondered if they would allow that or if it would be "blocked" since we're at the same address.

I figured surely someone on this site has tried it or knows the answer. Thanks all! :coffee:

Lots of people have reported getting one for a spouse and also getting multiple cards for themselves.

I have read that a lot of people have done the same thing. Is that the offer where you have to spend $500 in the first 5 months to be eligible for the $200? If that's the case, do you know if putting your WDW Vacation Package on the card is considered as spending $500 or does it have to be some other purchases?

Do you have to be invited to this offer? or is there an online link?

To answer the original question. Yes, both spouses can get a Disney Visa and take advantage of the sign up bonus. I got a small bonus when I initially signed up but a couple years ago DH got the $200 when he signed up. Same address and phone number but I do use differen emails for them.

Dismomof2boys, you have to spend $500 in the first 3 not 5 months to receive the $200 gift card. Yes, putting your WDW vacation package on the card counts toward the $500 spend. Anything you put on the card counts.

I was presented the offer when I booked a value resort on Disney.com Also I have seen it when I do online check in.

I signed up for one recently and was sent the reward gift card when I hit the $500 amount. I did not even have to request the reward...it just showed up in the mail. What would getting another card for DH do to our credit rating? Is this good or bad for the score?

When you first get a card your credit score goes down a bit. I do not know how many points. It is temporary. In the long run your credit can go up if you are using a smaller % of your available credit. The most important thing for a good credit score is to pay your bills on time. My husband and I both have Disney credit cards.

DH & I both signed up a few years ago and both received $200 immediately after our first purchases. We still are using them. I received the offer in the mail first, signed up, received my card, then DH received his, decided "why not", and received his card a little later.

We didn't think they would accept his at the same address, but no questions at all. That year we *each* had $200 extra for Disney!!! pixiedust:

We pay both off every month, so it's money saved for us. :thumbsup2
No annual fees!

Our credit rating is excellent, no changes. The only other card I have is Kohls - and that is only for their rewards, and paid off immediately - hardly use it.

My understanding is you have to charge $500 on the card in the first 3 months to get the $200 gift card.

There must have been some changes made if this is the case. When we got our cards a few years ago we didn't have a set amount or time to get our $200. Was immediately after first charge.

I used an offer for the $200 gift card for the Premiere card that I found in a Disney Insider e-mail that I received last fall.
