if I am using a PIN for my room and tix can I use the dining code of either QXD or QXZ for dining??

anyone know what the price off of dining is? either regular or Deluxe dining

since both seems to be working i would give them both

WOOHOOO!!! I just got off the phone and saved a little over $700 for dec 20-27th with 2 rooms at the Pop. DH is so excited! I tried to switch to the Family Suite and she said it wasn't available. Thank you DIS. BTW I used code QXZ

The codes did not work out for us. We are traveling 11/8 - 11/13 - we booked room only rates through AAA for BC and WL and bought our park tickets through undercover tourist and spent about $2500. I tried repricing with today's codes and the package prices were higher!! Guess we'll stick to what we have!

All Star movies came out to about $49 per night Oct 24-29, plus extra for preferred. (as part of the package). Can't be much better with a Disney Visa discount, although I'm disappointed they didn't have something separate first for us cardholders. Happy with discount though. Good luck to all!

I just got through. I asked to use the code QXD at the Poly for 10/19-27. It worked. But my price would have actually gone up about $600. We got a pin code probably back in April/May that was 40% off the room only. So we are sticking with the original room code. Guess I can't do better then that.

Can I call and modify and existing reservation to add the dining code? We booked the POR for 10/21-10/25 with a pin that was e-mailed but it didn't include any dining discounts (not that I am complaining we got a great deal). Just wondering if anyone knew.

Just out of curiosity... has anyone tried to modify a reservation and get a discount on a package booked by a TA? I know it's against the rules since the TA technically owns the reservation, but I'm just curious...

You can call and ask. Maybe they have an alternative package for what you booked under which includes a dining plan. It could be you have a room only and that is all that code was handled, with no additional alternatives. If you have a room only now, you will need to buy MYW tickets too.

I have a DISNEY VISA and I never hear about the specials until AFTER I hear from the DISboard. I get an e-mail like 4 weeks later.

I don't get the point of using a TA if they aren't on the phone with Disney at 7:00 am Eastern on the days the codes come out. All of the major online Disney-only agencies will do that for you.
