Disney Visa 09/28 - 12/23 Code

So no code for us.. Won't work for CSR Oct 18-25, but that's okay.. Also was told that there won't be any DV code. So it's rack rate for us, but at least we're going. :)

I AM SOOOOO EXCITED!!!! Just booked our 1-year anniversary trip, staying 10/4-10/11 7 nights with a 1-day base ticket (since we already have our tickets) at the Coronado Springs Resort, got it for $933.20 using discount code DGL!!! The price I found on the website without code was $1,452.88!! Total savings of $519.68!!! WOOHOO!!!! THANKS DISBOARDS, YOU'RE THE BEST!

I called disney this morning used the QXD and saved $545 on 10/1/08 - 10/11/08 at POP. So I bought tix for MNSSHP and still saved $290!!! I would like to take this opportunity to say Thanks to the die hard Disney Fans that help a wannabe like me enjoy these discounts also. Thanks Alot

Well, we're at POR Oct. 20-27, and UVL worked for us. It's going to save us $519!!!! Thanks so much everyone!!!

Wait a minute.......we actually saved over $1,000 because we had two separate room reservations (my mom has her own room) and the code applied to both!!!!

Call again, it opened up for us at POR! Wishing I would have checked into the price of Deluxe Dining....

Just rebooked my trip to Beach Club. I already had tickets from last trip, we upgraded them to 10 days NE so we could use again this year. So considering I had to buy 1 day tickets I saved $340 on our 6 night stay at Beach Club. The package is 6 nights st BC with 1 day base tickets and DDP for $2776. So glad I finally got through after and hour on hold with GG. Also I had a really good CM :) .

The vast amount of info and differences is overwhelming. My travel agent told me there were no savings for CSR for 11/30-12/7, but told me I could switch to POR or CBR for $394 savings.

Debbie

That is so true. I got CSR, 12/1-12/6, King bed, 2 - 1day MYE, plus dining. My quote was 1180.00. Saved 280.00, would have been 380.00 but there were no rooms with 2 doubles. It is only my husband and myself so it was no problem. Maybe that is where the difference is, there are no standard rooms left. :confused3

Ok, I tried UVL and MMP, but no luck. All I want to do is rebook the room I already have with a discount code! One CM told me this was possible, but I'm giving her the wrong code. She said I needed a code for internet bookings because I booked over the internet and not the phone. I don't understand why they need so many differnt codes. I have deluxe DP so I need a code that will work for this.

Wow!

By the way, he said that the Visa code is STILL on its way. It will include MANY more rooms that the GP codes from today. He also said that the VISA promotion is the only one they will be promoting for the next few months. I really questioned him and he said that it will be much bigger to accomodate all of the VISA holders....we shall see.

SO I'm still holding onto a glimmer of hope......(But chances are he was just blowing smoke....)

Good Luck to all of you still trying!

I hope this is true! Our resort (POP) was one that wasn't offering the discounts. However I was told that we could get it at ASMu.

Can anyone confirm if this is true - I heard that ASMu's king bed rooms are all equiped for those with disabilities. My DH and I are celebrating our 5th anniversary and have requested a king bed (I know you don't always get requests). Is this true of any of the other AS resorts?

Thanks you to anyone that can clarify this for me.

If you booked online originally, you'll need to use the code for online bookings, which is the MMP... not sure why that isn't working for you?

Can you try going online under your reservation and apply it there?

I tried doing it online, but I don't know how to put the code in there. All I want to do either rebook the room I already have or upgrade to a moderate if it will still save me money, but nothing is available in moderates and the codes aren't working over the phone so not sure what to do.

This is SO confusing. Does anyone know if you can get the package deal with hopper options?

Please help I'm a newbie. I have reservations for 10/1 that I made myself for POR can I call and give them one of these numbers and recieve some type of discount??

We just saved $1350 for 4 rooms December 2-8!!! We had to change from POR to CSR but since I'm paying for everyone's rooms this is GREAT surprise!!

Ok, this is what I just found out from calling Disney about 15 min. ago:
(I found all this out over 5 different calls. Most CM's told me the same thing)

So far, I have found out that there are 2 sets of codes. One set is for those who booked over the phone. These are the General Public codes from mousesavers.com.

The other set is for those who booked online. I don't see these codes anywhere on any websites, but thanks to a diser, I found out the code for online bookings is MMP (for deluxe dp. I don't know the other online codes for other packages).

Anyway, they can't cancel and rebook already existing reservations. There are a specific number of rooms available for this discount promotion in each of the hotels and so far, every room for the promotion in value, and moderate are completely booked.

As far as blackout dates, I believe its a mistake. Of the 5 times I called to try to get a discount, the codes were valid and good from Sept. 28th to December 23rd. None of the CM's mentioned anything about not being able to book because of black out dates. My week would have been accepted for discounts (December 6 to 14th) if any rooms were available.

I even double checked and asked if the code I gave was correct and valid for my dates and the CM's told me yes. I only have to keep trying to call to see if a room becomes available.

So, if any of you didn't get a discount, keep trying even if trip falls in the black out dates.

Oh and since I had to change to CSR that opened up 4 rooms (3 kings, 1 standard queens) for December 2-8 over at POR. If anyone needs those- JUMP ON IT!!!!:woohoo:

This is why i'm confused. I'm booked at CSR from 11/30-12/7 in one room and my TA told me that I have to switch to POR to save the money that CSR has no rooms available with the code. I'm pretty sure I'm pissing her off also because I keep asking questions. I can't do anything over the phone with disney so what do I do?

All they had at CSR were King Rooms but thankfully thats what we needed. Maybe thats your problem?
