Disney Village Restaurants 20% Discount Card

Patsy if you don't get the discount card when your are at the Annual Pass office, ask for one. When I bought my passes, the lady there was very helpful, and explained everything she was putting in my annual pass folder, so I knew each thing that was in there. Hopefully you will get a similar service, so you'll know right away if the discount voucher for the restaurants is/isn't there.

Great advice :thumbsup2

Actually this is the case. It says on the ticket about annual passport holders.
Now others may have received the ticket. But they were lucky, rather than had a right to this bonus :)

oooh i see. Thanks, I best not mention it to them then  I'm wondering if its worth buying an AP as we want to go back next year for the 3rd time. I'm gonna have a read up about it.

Oh Ashleigh, I feel really awful now as I said there would be no trouble getting one. We asked in one of the Village restaurants and were given one and I saw someone else given one too.

I'm still of the opinion that they are for everyone. I know last year that they were restricted to annual passholders/shareholders but this year the offer is on the official French site on the Disney Village page here and nowhere does it say you have to have an Annuel Passeport. I've still got that other part-used 20% card in front of me and it doesn't mention Annuel Passeport anywhere on that either, only that it can't be used with any other promotion or reduction.

I'm so sorry about this, also that you had a rotten time in Cafe Mickey.

We also had a difficult time getting one. We were waiting to be seated in Annette's Diner and I asked the waitress who had no idea about it. Eventually after my persistence she brought the manager who also acted as if he didn't know what I meant then he asked us if we had our annual passes, it just so happened we had although I hadn't realised that we were supposed to. We showed him our passes and at last we were given a card. I don't think he would have given us one otherwise.

Awww dont worry about it, its fine  We were only gonna use it there anyways so it wouldnt of saved much lol. I think they just needed to make their website a bit clearer- even though it was in French
I still got some great character photos though! :goodvibes

Yes, if the offer is just for AP holders then the website is very misleading. It's not like the info is on the Annual Passport website, it's on the French site and translates as being for all visitors ....... and like I said nothing on the card itself states you have to be an annual passport holder (I haven't kept last year's card but I'm sure it stated on that one that you had to be an AP/shareholder) :confused3

Oh well, I'm glad you're not letting it bother you and at least you had a good time with the characters. :goodvibes

I'm off to catch up with everyone's trippies now. :yay:

The one I had for this year does say in French 'on presentation of your annual passport .....' right at the top before we used it. It seemed to change slightly once we used it as they cut the section with the restaurant names out and stuck them in the middle.

We used it in Cafe Mickey and The Steakhouse brunch and were never asked for an annual pass at either (although two of us had them)
