Disney version Silly Bands?

We will be at WDW in June and the shaped rubber bands have really taken off here and are very popular. DS is wondering if he'll be able to find any Disney shaped ones? We both figured if anyone knew the Disboards would. TIA

I haven't seen any yet and didn't notice them when we were at disney a few weeks ago (about late March).

But it isn't out of the realm of possibilty that they'll have them eventually. Nto sure if they'd have them by June though.

This phase has not hit around this area yet. The funny thing is, one of my students gave me these (animal bands, not Disney) as an end of the year gift last year. They've been sitting in the drawer for a year b/c I had no idea what to do with them. I wonder if I should let DD wear them to school & start the trend...

Do it! I asked my kids back before Christmas if they wanted some and they said no...now here it is 4 months later and they are all the rage at their school and of course now they want them!

They are stretchy like rubber bands, but made of stronger plastic-y rubbery stuff like jelly bracelets. So, they are kind of half-and-half. Kids wear them as bracelets and trade them. DD has a big plastic bag full- she is looking forward to getting some Disney ones when we are there.

I've never heard of them until I saw this post yesterday.

Today DD10 comes home with one from a friend and wants me to buy her more.

Why in the world are these things popular? It looks like a rubber band to me. I didn't even see the shape she was trying to show me. She said it was a rabbit.

Darn fad is going to cost me money. And they'll most likely be chewed up by our Rocky cat who we have to keep all rubber bands away from.

Great timing. I was looking for them at WDW on Saturday. Didn't see any.

They are officially a hit here. Even the boys are wearing them!

I bought DD some silly bands that were Princess themed. Not Disney specifically.
PRINCESS PACK! includes Princess, Diamond Ring, Glass Slipper, Castle, Magic Wand, and Tiara.
