Only on the DIS could I ask this question. Of all the Disney Vacation videos you have sent away for each year (and I know you have), which "Guest" has the most memorable spot, whether it's because of what they said or how they acted?

For me, there's a few. One is the guy that says "I like to laugh...laugh, and have a good time!" (note his friend in the background who looks at him like he's a dork). Another is the woman, also referring to Pleasure Island, that says -- with a unique voice -- "I didn't even know this was all here!"

Any favorites, whether it's because of their annoying, funny or cute factor?

After reading only the subject line of your post, I immediately thought of that guy, too! I hate him!!! That line is SO irritating.

The couple in the Japan pavilion also comes to mind. He explains to the camera the new language skills he learned and his wife says, "Are you sure?"

I remeber there was on on I believe the 25th anniversary version where the there's a family (dad, mom, tween daughter) in front of China. The dad just goes crazy while he's describing the fireworks exploding over the castle and then he says how he looks at his family (quick pan to family) and thinks "It just doesn't get any better than this!!!!!" The daughter has the expression that she's thinking. "I really really REALLY hope my friends never see this." The poor girl looked so embarassed and the mom did a little as well.

Tina: I forgot about the "are you sure?" guy! Yes, that one's pretty funny too.

Meeko: Just looking at the people reacting to the speaker in their group is entertaining. A lot of times you can certainly tell what they're thinking!

I've never seen (or heard) of these videos...what are they?

I love those videos! Forgive me for not remembering this very well but I will try and make sense---
It was a cute young-10-12yr.- English boy talkig about the teacups--he says something about his mum telling him to stop spinning it he's making her sick--It isn't what he says so much its his cute expression.

My husband and I love the "are you sure" man trying to speak some newly learned Japanese.

I also remember the lady interviewed about Pleasure Island that when asked what she thought of it, simply said, "Fun, fun, fun, fun, fun!" while she counted off on her fingers 5 fun's. It wasn't particularly odd, but it just sticks in my head.

I love the couple that fights over who was more scared on a thrill ride (I believe it was Dinosaur). They are cute!

We always laugh at the guy who says "We always have to visit the living seeeas". Everytime we go to Epcot we say "We have to visit the living seeeeas". LOL

I love the little girl, who describes the curtain in ITTBAB, "Butterflies... real butterflies!".

Love that one. Also the guy with the funny sunglasses on in front of RnRC with his family... he has cool glasses.

My dd 5 has watched it so many times (I think it is 2002 edition?) that when she talks about Disney, she sounds just like the video, even repeats parts of it. Too Funny!

Steph - they are the free planning videos that you get on the disney website.

There is one guy that is really goofy - I think he's talking about the Dinosaur ride, he's demonstrating how he was ducking down because there was something coming at him from over here, then over here... he's kinda dorky. :)

I have one from many years ago. I think I even bought it. this may have been before they sent them out for free. In this one there is an older woman who is describing Catastrophe Canyon at MGM and complains " I got wet----- but it was cooool". Love that woman and she is the reason that I have never gotten rid of the video even though it is so old that many of the rides highlighted are now gone or totally different.

I always laugh on the one where the grammy is saying how she always goes on TOT with everyone. "I get on...we get the picture...then I just drop with the rest of them!" That always makes me and DH crack up!:teeth:

We have two we always say.

The first, as an above poster mentioned, a mom from the UK reliving her experience on the teacups "and I said stop spinning the cups" in a perfect British accent. It's so cute! Everytime we see the teacups one of us says in our best impression, "Stop spinning the cups!" complete with the accent.

The other one we always say was also in a British accent (which I love) There was a mother who had just gotten off Kali River Rapids and she says "You get soaked!" and she was drenched. I loved her accent and her face when she said that!

The third thing we say is actually from the Disney World TV station that has the "Tip for today" There is a part of the narration on the segment for Epcot that says "Discover Epcot..." at a certain point in the Illuminations song. Whenever we hear the Illuminations song on our CD, at that part, I say "Discover Epcot"

You guys are freaks for watching those videos so many times...me too:bounce: I like the same one with the young Brit talking about the teacups. I think it may be his sister that is talking about Illuminations and says it's better than the best dream you could ever have. Also the woman in Morrocco who says she's a shopaholic, she loves the leathers:earseek:

I love the Indiana Jones family that goes "and he carries around the whip" - that kid has to be 20 by now.

and also

"Mickey ruffled her hair...and *sniff* my daughter cried!"

Seems to be a theme here....

The first one that comes to mind is the young British boy talking about Test Track. Can't remember the exact words, but it ends with "...you shoot right out into the outside lane".
