:confused3 Has anyone used the My Vacation planner on the disney.com website? I leave in 6 days and was wondering if it would help are family get more organized. What does your family do??

We used it in back in September. Sometimes our info wouldn't save. So I ended up creating our own using Microsoft Excel. I like having easy access to the docs any time.

The disney.com planner is okay, but not great. You might want to try the free planner at touringplans.com or explorethemagic.com. Both have places to plug in dollar figures and scheduling.

I tried by filling out all the info on the myplanner...but it really doesn't work if you plan to do any non-disney stuff...(like Universal)...so I make a spreadsheet that is customized to my family and all the things we are going to do.

You mean you plan? We just kind of loosely figure out which parks we are going to go to on which day and some of the things we would like to do. No notes, no schedules. This year should be different since we are doing free dining, I have made several ADR's. I have such a regimented job, guess my vacation needs to be as laid back as you can have one at Disney! Now...we still see LOTS of stuff, and get to every park, and do some extras. We just also know that each trip is not going to be our last.
