I feel as if I have just accomplished the impossible, I just booked my vacation for literally $20. The $20 was the fee for using my Continental Airlines One Pass rewards. A few years ago I changed my debit/credit card to one that builds FF miles and yesterday on a whim (and trying to squeeze one more vacation in with our current APs) I booked an AKV Jambo House savanna view studio for Feb break. Well when I looked at airfare the prices were super high and I thought let me check that Continental account......Lo and behold I was able to book a super early flight out of Syracuse that Tuesday with a not so bad time for a return flight that Sunday (Presidents Week), for a $20 fee! So now I get to go to my favorite resort (AKL) which I was shocked that they even had availability for that week on practically free airfare and using our APs for a third time! Unfortunately after this we will be on a Disney hiatus until 2011 when I get completely finished with my Master's Degree, so this will be a nice treat! And then look out, it will finally be time for a cruise!!!!

That's great! I try to charge absolutely everything to my FF credit card and then pay it off immediately. It takes discipline, but I've gotten so many free air tickets that it is totally worth it! Isn't it just great to know that the room is there, the air fare is free, free Magical Express transport to resorts...so it's just really food! It makes it all feel like a great deal! Maybe "magical" LOL!

You've got to love a trip that is so cheap...and let's you get another use out of an AP! :)

Congratulations on your "cheap" trip! I just did the same thing today...booked 5 nights at VGC for June, and then got my flight on Delta for $42 with my Skymiles!! I was sooo happy!!

Cheers to us for cheap trips!!:cheer2:

Congrats to all those scoring bargain trips! Hope they are wonderful. I really need more FF miles...

That's great!!! Now, see if you can take a bump one way and get some money for another trip.:goodvibes I know, never satisfied, always wanting more!

Bobbi:goodvibes

We have loads of United miles and I did the same thing - except we are going to NC to see my niece's baby :love::love::love: Dh gets then because he works overseas. We get Disney Reward Dollars with our credit card.

I took my sister to Chicago this summer on ff miles - it was great. Then if you do have any extra funds you can treat yourself to something special.

Have a great time :woohoo::woohoo:
