Disney Vacation Club Luau Experience?

We got an invitation today for the Disney Vacation Club Luau Experience at the Poly. I am not sure why but it just so happened to work perfectly into our plans so I went ahead and confirmed the reservation. Anyone been who can give me a review of it? is it worth it? We had a dinner scheduled at 525 at Kona Cafe this evening and were planning to go to Trader Sams at 4 when it opens. (will still try to be at Trader sams when it opens to get a drink) I went ahead and booked another dinner reservation for 805 but just wanted to make sure it was worth eating a later dinner for the experience. I think we will enjoy it but just wanted to see what someone who has actually attended this event thought. We will have a 8 Year old Boy with us. Are there other families at the event?

I have saw some threads on here of people being invited back in July but not much since then. Our date we were invited to was September 7th.

We just signed up, we still have to tweak our plans a bit but it seems fun!

We got one of those too but it doesn't line up with our plans very well so I haven't accepted. I too would like to hear what it was like for those who have been in the past.
