Hi, everybody......well it came in the mail today. The dreaded invitation to a birthday party at Chuckee Cheeses scheduled for the Saturday before we leave (Thursday) for our absolutely expensive, deluxe, dreamed of and planned for 6 months, highly anticipated 12 night Disney vacation.
I feel so bad because my daughter (6 yrs old) ALWAYS 100% of the time without fail gets the blurpy stomach flu after a visit to Chuckee Cheeses. Then of course at least 3 of the 5 of us catch it.
I don't want to hurt anybody's feelings, most of all a little bday girl.
I do not know these people, other than the little girl is in my daughter's kindergarden class and did come to her bday party in January.
I just told my 15 yr old son the situation and right away he said "Don't let her go. There is a 100% chance she will get sick." He is right. My 9 yr old said the same thing!! They KNOW! I feel so torn. I am just so afraid to risk those strong CCheese germs against my vacation.
What would you do??? What should I do??? I don't want to come off as neurotic, but I am serious, no two ways about it - that place makes my kids ILL.
Thanks for any advice!!
