We tried to renew our annual passes last nighjt. DVA site has been down for 4 days.. Could not get our full account number to use for renewal. It was the last day as we waited in hopes the site would come up to retreive our numbers. They said there is nothing they could do without the account number (understood) but they can not extend the renewal period. Called the DVA number to see if they could help get the numbers and they could not either. That's when we were told that annual passes are NOT park admission/tickets and DVA can not be used to purchase them anywhere. Supervisor said wait till the site comes up and read the FAQs... Really???? Asked for a refund... nope can't do that either until the site comes up. Just checked it's now Day 5 it is down. Will try to say Gift Card instead of DVA when we purchase our AP's at the higher price. SLAP!!!!!!!

Also the supervisor said we would have to buy regular park tickets with the DVA and then upgrade to the AP.

I used my DVA when I renewed my annual passes online in February. I just selected pay with gift card and input the number.

They are incorrect. The DVA can be used to pre-purchase park admission. If they tell you otherwise, simply tell them you are paying with a Disney Gift Card and then give them your DVA account number.

Should add it was for a renewal with DVC discount. Not arguing whith what others have experienced but 3 CM's said we can not do it. I think they are full of it but if they say no all you can do is hang up

I am hoping to be able to use it to renew our AP's in September and to pay our dues too.
