Disney Vacation Account- even stranger

Not only is the Disney Vacation Account site telling me I don't have a DVA account, only accounts for their other sites but their phone number is not working. I have been calling for days and it gives me an error that all circuits are busy. They have not responded to emails or "contact us" messages through their site.

Has anybody contacted them recently- like in the past week or two?
Did some obscure division of Disney just disappear with my vacation fund?
I was about to add one more card to get my next $20 reward and then cash it out... amazing timing. Over the weekend I also realized I haven't gotten this month's email updating me on the status of the account like I have gotten monthly for two years now.

I know it's happened in the past and you can search for this, but has anybody heard from them since late March when this happened to some people?
 
I can't use it though- I don't have a gift card yet and I don't have the number to use it as a credit card. All the emails are missing the last 4 digits.
 

I was able to logon and purchase Disneyland passes yesterday. A couple hours later I received an email stating my usage. Try again later. Things like this happen ALL the time.

You need to click on "view account number" under Next Steps on the account activity page to see the last 4 digits.

Exactly, but the website is saying I don't have an account, it's been days, they are not answering emails and their phone isn't working.

I have had the same problem. I tried emailing them but it's been a week with no response and I called several times but busy signal and no luck logging in as it says I have incorrect log in info
 
I have been getting random errors all weekend stating "they were unable to retrieve my account and to try again later".

I just tried and it seems to be working better today.

I had this problem with the 407-939-1936 and 407-939-7523 numbers from the contact section of the regular Disney website this afternoon when trying to contact them about my missing MBs. It didn't even ring and said something about circuits being busy. I finally had success with the IT number, but the lady on the other end wasn't very helpful (wouldn't even patch me through to someone else who could help). It was very weird.
 
Funny I literally just got an emailed response from DVA services. I guess it's all fixed now
 
Good to know the site is working for somebody. It still thinks I don't exist but it's less terrifying to know they didn't pack up the whole department or anything.

Had same issues most of the weekend. Seemed to start working again Sunday night. I had an issue where i added a gift card it errored out, didn't add it to the account but removed the money from the card. I called DVA they forwarded me to GC customer service who told me I needed to speak to a different dept that isn't open on weekends. Later in the day I logged in again and the money was added.
 
Ok, their phone never came back for me, but I called website support from another Disney site and they were able to get my account to acknowledge itself. She is also turning in a report that their phone isn't working because that makes it disconcerting when the site and phone are both down.

I called them saturday and had no issues getting someone on the phone. They were not very helpful but they answered the phone.
 
I was thinking of joining this as we are purchasing AP's this year but everyone seems to have so many problems I don't know if it is worth the extra $20.00 per $1,000.00. We are traveling in next month and I do not want to have any problems getting to my money this close to our trip.

Joining if you are in a hurry is a bad plan, the fine print gives rules how how long it can take to get gift cards and needing to account to be open 60 days, not 100% certain but think you would have the hassle and not even be eligible for the reward. I started mine before they would combine gift cards (now you can do this on the gift card website) so I was actually looking for a way to get around showing up with a stack of 150 $25 gift cards to pay for our hotel and food.

Your account must be open for 120 days before you spend to qualify for the $20 gift card per $1,000 spent. So if you want the $20 gift card per $1,000 spent you can't purchase your AP's until end of August.(If you were to open it right now)
