Good morning everyone,
Imaginbe my delight this morning when i opened my inbox and there was an email from Disney Guest Services, as i had emailed them (following previous thread) for my 12 digit ref no. for linking dining reservations to my booking.

When i opened the email i nearly fainted, they stated that they have no record of our reservation, :scared1:

Has this happened to anyone else?

What should i do? i have rechecked under the UK site using our 6 digit ref and the booking seems to be there but US not aware of it, is this common?

Any advise would be appreciated,

Many Thanks
Ali

Do you by chance have your credit card or bank statement where your reservation was billed? There should be a reference # on the statement, and they should be able to locate the reservation via the reference #.

When I emailed them to get my 12-digit number, I also gave my full name, arrival/departure dates and the name of the resort I'm staying at. Did you include all this information?

Not by email but when I rang them to make ADR's last year it took them almost 20 mins to trace my reservation. Can't remember how she found it but she told me after trying every way possible she was trying the last way it could be found, thankfully it was there. I doubt they will go to such lengths for an email. You will need to ring them.

I'm trying to sort out a strange one with them at the moment. We booked almost a year ago for 9 nights at SSR for 6 people. Because of work we've had to change our dates to July.

Disney UK have kindly change our reservation dates we also change the hotel - now staying at the GF SL Building and take 2 people off the booking as our friends can't make the new dates. All this for no charge :goodvibes

We have recived our new confirmation and everything was correct. But I haven't been able to pull up the reservation when booking ADR's but I could with the original booking - no problem I thought as we have concierge I thought I'd make use of their services and get them to do the bookings.

Well I contacted the GF earlier this week and they said they couldn't find the booking under our new July dates but under our old August dates. So they have changed the hotel but not the dates :scared1: But I have an invoice from Disney in the UK with the correct dates:confused3

So at the moment I have a booking at the right hotel for the wrong dates and an invoice for the correct dates and hotel, the GF telling me that Disney UK need to amend the dates, Disney UK telling me that they don't need to do anything as it's correct on their system  And when I log in to book ADR's with the info that the GF gave me it will bring up the reservation so at the moment I'm inclinded to believe Disney in the US.

Not sure how it will sort it's self out at the moment but just glad I found out before we arrived.

Hiya
Thanks for the replies, i did include everything i could think of, i have re-emailed them, and depending on outcome i think i will phone them as wayne suggested for peace of mind.
Blooming hols are supposed to be relaxing, they cause more stress before hand than anything i know, oh well will be worth it in the end
Thanks

Dealing with something like this myself - I am also inclined to go with Disney US: that is where you check in and that is where you will be staying. When you check in at EST, the Disney UK staff on GMT have long gone to bed ....

I must say, yours sounds horrendously complicated ;)

I think re-emailing is a good idea. I got the information I needed by using the 'Contact Us' link on the website.
It's possible that the CM that got your email either didn't know where to look or couldn't be bothered. I suppose if you had tried very shortly after booking the information might not have been updated on the US system thhough.

Shame, worth trying again though although I know it is irritating. took the advice from the site (probably your other thread) and emailed us site of WDW even though I've booked through Virgin for our October trip. Took about four days for them to come back to us but they did have our reference for ADR bookings.

When I had to call Disney from Turkey I used skype to phone connection.:surfweb: It worked really well and I was thankful because I was on the line for over an hour :scared1: (the whole call cost 1 Euro in skype credit) - of course I was making dining reservations so yours should be quicker I'd think! Good Luck!

Thanks for all your replies,
After i recieved my intial email stating they couldn't find my reservation, i just pressed reply on email and asked very nicely if they would double check as i had been exictedly checking out restaurants etc and would be devastated if my booking didn't exist etc etc.
Anyway to cut a boring story short, i have just come home from a weekend away, checked my 1571 as i always do and....
had a wonderful message from a lovely man called Howard from Disney US saying they are very sorry for not being able to find my booking earlier and then he quoted me my 12 digit ref no. and this was followed up with an email.

So, got there in the end.
