Disney Unwrapped ???

My DD watched Disney Unwrapped with me the other night. They showed a thing for assembling your own dessert (UFO, caterpillar, etc). This was really close to the Chef Mickey segment. When we were there--we never saw these. My DD really wants to do this. Is DIsney still doing this & where?? Anybody know??

My DH and I watched that special and it was just great. I asked my husband that same question and he said he thought at the Contemporary.

We always eat at Chef Mickey's and I have never seen that offered - I would want to do that myself.

I have to think this is new and quite smart. The GF has activities like that for the kids. Why not the CR?

Can't wait to find out.

I was wondering the same thing myself. My dd would just love these. So I did some digging and located a few.

Coral Reef- Build your own sundae and peanut butter playdough
Akershus - Kids troll cookie with ediable paints
Jiko - Kids puzzle with a banana split
California Grill - Build your own brownie
Citrico's - Build your own sundae
Narcoossee's - Make your own smores
Artist Point - White Chocolate Mickey puzzle with a cookie
Yachtsman - white chocolate puzzle, sugar "paint" and a vanilla cupcake


Those are the only things I could come up with. I wish I could locate the rest, but maybe we'll find them on our upcoming trip!

We have DVR it's kinda like TiVo. Anyway I have Disney Unwrapped taped on it. It's so cool to rewind or slow it down. You can really miss alot sometimes watching specials. I re-watched it and it showed the chef at the Contemporary talking about the desserts you can get there for the kids to make themselves. I've never eaten there, but that's what the show says.

YW Bookcrazy! I wish I could locate more though. I wish Unwrapped gave source info, but they don't. I even check foodtv's message boards and couldn't find out about the rest.

All the kids' desserts they were showing when they were talking about the ladybug one, are they only at the dinner meal or are there desserts at the breakfast too???!!

I may be changing our PS from breakfast to dinner, depending on the answer to this one!
