Disney Universe Game?

So, my daughter really wants the Disney Universe game. I would like to get it for her as a special reward for her reward choice time that we do.

Has anyone here played or know if it is any good?

Any game deals. Found a few good coupon codes. I <3 coupons! but want to see if someone that knows game sites knows a good place!

My kids are 9 and 5 and they love this game. I've played a few times and liked it, too. It's really cute.

A friend of ours rented it when it first came out and didn't like it (she's a grown up and fellow Disney fanatic). So we decided to rent it first too - DD didn't like playing it so we were only out the rental fee for one day (returned it the same day).

I always recommend to people that they rent it first just to try it out - just my 2 cents.

How old is your daughter? My 8 year old asked for and received it for her birthday. She found it way to hard and quickly gave up on it. My 13 year old plays it all the time and says its one of her favorites.

Will she be playing it alone or as a family?

We purchased it at release (didn't it come out 2 years ago?) and still play it every other week as a family. It's seriously one of the best family games out there. Better than Mario Party as there's no waiting to take turns, and only better than Toy Story 3 in that it allows 4 players. I don't think it would be as fun playing by yourself though as a lot of the humor and enjoyment comes from fighting a bit with each other to get all the goodies.

I have laughed so hard once that I stopped breathing, I couldn't get air in and instead it was this high pitched wheeze thing...and my daughter has had to pause and run into the bathroom before she peed herself laughing.

Toy Story 3 is also amazingly good when played as a pair. The Toy Box mode is well done.

My DD13 loves it - been playing for the past 3 days non-stop!
We enjoy it as well and play with her off & on.
My DD26 and her boys 4 & 6 also love to play it.
