DW, DD (11), and me (DH) are headed to Disney Thanksgiving week......as DVC members we have been at the Disney parks many, many times.....we plan to go to MK on one of the days....we have also been to Universal and Seaworld quite a few times. Having said that...what other attracttions do you recommend? thanks!

I enjoyed Busch Gardens when we went many years ago. We are now planning a trip for Feb and we are going back with our crazt over coaster kids. They saw the coasters on the BG web site and are hooked. Also I have seen Cyprus Gardens is open again we will also be checking that out in the near future. My boys loved Gator Land, not my thing but they talked about it for days. My husband took my sons and nephews and they all thought it was cool. I went shopping. Not for all but I like the Belz for good cheap gifts and souvies.

i suggest it all, read under my sig. good luck

Are you choosing to skip Epcot, MGM and the Animal Kingdom ? You only mentioned the MK.
If the weather is nice, how about a water park ? Disney's Typhoon Lagoon is open and they have a new ride called Crush 'N Gusher. It's a fun slide.
How about Cypress Gardens ? http://cypressgardens.com/welcome.asp

thanks for the feedback.....how is Cypress Gardens? It has been more than 20 years since I have been there!

What's Wonder Works?

Is a museum with some oddities involved! Is actually a big upside down house as the main entrance and dozens of hand-on things to discover. Think about it as the Science Museum type of attraction. The first visit happened somewhere in 1998, but is a good one.

How about an afternoon at the Beaches if the weather permits. You can get to either shore within an hour. I know Clearwater and St.Peete was great for relaxing. My son absolutely loved the fact you can drive on Daytona Beach and all the tourist-type activities right on the beach here. You can also usually reach the Kennedy Space Center in alittle more than an hour. Also you could do the track tour at Daytona Racetrack. I am not a Nascar fan at all- but DH likes it. Anyhow, not being a fan, I still found it very interesting.

the beach...now you're talking....the waves, a good book, relaxing as my daughter buries me! thanks to all!

We took my 3 yr old twins to Cypress Gardens on our vacation two weeks ago. I have to say it was close to the most fun we had this trip. There was no crowd at all, you could walk right on to every ride. We did two of the shows, which were entertaining but nothing spectacular (ski show, ice skating). My kids loved it because they were tall enough to ride almost everything.

If you are going to the beach, the west coast one's are nicer.
Clearwater is our favourite.
