Disney UK promotional Giftcard

Hi guys,

just received our paperwork for trip at the end of April - we've booked hotel and tickets through Disneyworld.co.uk, so benefitted from the gift card promotion. However, on the gift card voucher it says "Not valid for redemption" - does this simply mean we cant wander in to the disney store with it, and have to change it at the resort for a card? Or do we have a problem? I will probably ring them tonight to get it from the horses mouth, but if anyone knows or would be interested to know...

I don't know as I have never had one in voucher form. Logically, I would have thought you need to have it tranferred onto a card at check in, as you do with your tickets. The cards are fairly standard and easily recognised by the CMs. I would have thought that adding vouchers into the mix would confuse matters. If it were me I would call anyway just so I knew what to do on arrival.

Hi,
I would think it is added to yout KTTW, and you just hand it over when you purchase something. probably your receipt will then tell you what you have left. That was what happened with the dining plan last year.
Only guessing though!

We got the gift card at check in last year.

It was like a standard gift card that you buy in the Disney stores over there.

Ta everyone, haven't had a chance to call them yet (guessing they might be a touch busy atm) but feel a little more optimistic. Now, lets hope the airports are open by then...
