Disney UK ....OKW & SSR disappeared???!!!! UPDATE 30/8....It's back!!!

Ok, so we'd almost decided on OKW next October - I'm just waiting for my sister to return from her holiday so we can book.

Checked online today at Diney UK and both OKW & SSR have disappeared?? I can't get availability for ANY dates?! Is this normal?? Surely this can't possibly be booked out completely??

Or is it a blip with the UK website??

Can anyone help and put my mind at rest......might be back to the planning board if it is booked out

I just looked back on my Disney 'notes' from last year and OKW disappeared from Disney direct on 27th August last year too! Don't fret, it reappeared again.

I was wondering if they thought people would be booking seeing as it's a bank holiday and we clearly have nothing else to be doing I'll try not to worry and keep an eye on it.....then keep everything crossed it re-appears!!

check on Complete orlando see if they have it on their site. Im sure it will be back on with disney direct soon.

I've been watching these resorts over the last few weeks and was ready to book when my dad and stepmum asked if they could come along too.

Over the last few weeks the studios have disappeared and then come back on again a couple of times. I noticed that they had gone completely so I called Disney to check. The CM I spoke to thought it may be a glitch with the UK system until she checked. She thought it may be because the deal has been on for 4 months but I think it will come back on. It did this a couple of years ago too. I think it is strange how suddenly the entire resorts are no longer available.

I'll be keeping my fingers crossed.

God there are loads of us. Mart( burt) lives by tesco kford nigel( diswolves) lives in wolverhampton. Two others live in stourbridge. I hope u get it sorted. We normally book with disney but CO okw flight and tickets package was cheaper.

Does anyone know if I booked with Complete Orlando for me and hubby and then looked to add on Sister, BIL & Nephew would they charge me for amending the booking?

I always find this when i look on the Disney UK website! Certain Resorts just randomly disappear for a few hours or even a few days & then just randomly reappear.

But i always find more availability/choice when booking through the Disney US website so that's what i tend to advise these days (unless you get a good priced package through Disney UK).

Anyhow, panic over as they have re-appeared today Now I just need the week to fly so I can badger my sister when she's back from hols so we can get this booked !!! I sooooooo want another countdown

Yay thank goodness for that. I have just checked and it showing for our dates too so panic over at this end.

Now just need to book later before it disappears again. I am just hoping that when the flights are released we can get them cheaper too
