Disney Two Way Radios

I don't know about the Disney radios but we just got back and we used motorolas. They worked great!

The Disney 2-way radios have similar range to the regular Motorola 2-ways, as they are made by Motorola. They're good!

Have never personally used them shipboard, but they should work well. Just keep in mind the deeper you're in the ship the more metal between and could interfere with any radio signals.

I have a pair of the Disney ones, as well as some "plain" motorolas. Two things I don't like about the Disney ones: No belt clip and no auto shutoff feature. It's nice to be able have then automatically turn off after say 2 hours, so if you forget and leave them on, your batteries are not totally drained.

I just bought some for my daughter's birthday yesterday. I will let you know. We are leaving on the March 29th cruise.:D

We used our on the 2/22 Eastern and they worked fine. It is true though that the lower you go in the ship the harder it is to get reception.

we're looking into getting a set for our cruise (just my daughter and I) figuring, it will be cheaper than using our cell phones to find each other if we get separated.

We'll be on Deck 7, so hopefully the range will be decent if one of us is outside. Which floor are the dining rooms on ?? I can't recall right now, I'm wondering how the radio's would work that far down.

Thanks, Jeanny :D
