Disney Twitters - Park wait times via text

Just saw this twitter post from the Disney Parks account:

Looks like they have released where you can text them and they send back the wait times. Since I don't have an iPhone I have not been able to use e-ticket, but this sounds pretty cool. Not a Verizon customer either so I guess I will have to wait for reports on the boards.

I believe this is the Verizon offering. There is an app for about 6 bucks that you can download. It tells you about the parks, gives maps, character appearances, and wait times. However, the wait times are definited by words not numbers: see now, moderate, and high (my wording may be a bit off, but you get the idea).

The texting feature costs just regular text messaging fees and I believe is available to all carriers. There is a limit per phone of 4 ride wait time checks per day. After this, you get an error text back.

There is also a free mobile website that verizon/Disney offers that gives you the "word" wait times.

There's info on Disney.com if you search mobile- that's how I found it accidentally. Also you could probably search verizon since the Disney site links you to Verizon.
