Disney TV at Sears for $29! Better Hurry

Ok everyone, so we all bought our TV's, now here's the question. How many of you got them??!! I recieved an email stating that their was a delay in processing my order. I called several times and the last time they told me ALL of the orders were being CANCELLED because of a price error. Thats it, just cancelled nothing else. Heres the kicker though, they are still advertising it online. I pitched a fit to a manager, and I get a better response talking to a dog. Go Figure.

I received my confirmation, but nothing stating that anything was cancelled??? Hmmmm, I guess dh will have to call his bank to see if the charge went thru....

Oh, our charge went through, they will be issuing me a refund in 3-5 business days.

This may be a stupid question, but... What if I placed the order online, charged it to my credit card, scheduled pick-up and the store and have already picked it up? Can (or will) they do anything to charge me more now? I have only authorized them to charge the $29 +tax. They have already given me the merchandise for that price. Just wonder :confused3 ing....

I would not think so, just count your self lucky, and save ALL you paperwork.

It hasnt been cancelled just yet. I did the store pick up and it was to be here in 15-17 days at the mall I requested. I wonder if it will be there at all when it is time. ANd will I have to go through heck to get my refund.

So far no cancellation, we will see what happens. I also looked on sears.com and it is still valid SO FAR.

Good Luck to everyone.

Just on Sears.com Although you can still SEE the tv for the $29.97 price... you cannot select it anymore!

It was fun while it lasted!

I just confimed my order and the nice csr told me that all of the orders have been cancelled and they are not going to honor any of the prices. There were over 200 orders placed this morning, so they could not honor them at that price.

Like the other poster it was fun while it lasted!!! Oh well. She did say that my card will be refunded within 3-5 days.

Thought you might want to know.

my order still say processed.May be it will go thru.If I could get these 2 tv's at this price, ebay here I come :goodvibes

The Attorney General would probably be interested in Sears' "bait and switch" tactics. :scratchin

Really? I thought it would be classified as "Human Error."

I picked mine up with no problems. They better not dare try to charge me more or there will be &@#* to pay!

You know I knew it was too good to be true! Sears Just like Disney NEVER EVER EVER has the lowest price on anything!! My son's gf works for sears and I called them and told them to pick up a couple so she is going to try and she will get her discount on top of it. Yeah right I can dream can't I.

I want my T.V at $29. I feel the need to take one over to ebay.

There are already 2 of them there and I'm sure there are more to follow. I considered it for a minute and then thought that my kids would get alot more out of it so ours will be staying here (plus I can't imagine shipping this thing - the box is huge!)

I got an email saying the order was canceled and another saying that my credit card was declined, which I do not understand at all. :confused3 So, no tv for me either. :guilty: Maggie

Well, I checked with my mom, and she has not received an email to cancel her order of 3 tvs. So, I am not sure what is going on.

Also, once I got it home, inside the box with the manual, is a coupon for a FREE ticket to Disney on Ice (exp. 07/06). Most of the other coupons expired 12/04, though.

anyone that order more than 1 tv had their order cancelled? I think they my have picked up on the single orders and cancelled then out. We shall see.

I understand human error, but last year one of the airlines had a price error and had tons of people buy REALLY cheap flights. They yanked the online ad, but still honored the tickets. Even something to compensate a 10 dollar gift certificate would have been nice, or I would have been happy for the smaller TV at that price but the lady I spoke with just didn't sound like she cared. :confused3 Customer satisfaction just doesn't exist anymore.

Stores generally have disclaimers listed for these kinds of things versus airlines, hotels etc.
