Disney treats in carryon?

I really wanted to bring home our daughters those rice krispie treats from Goofy's Candy Kitchen and would prefer to put them in my carryon so that they'll look 1/2 ways decent when I give them to the girls. Is this or any food "banned" from being in my carryon? I know you're not allowed to bring alot of beverages {liquids}through security at the airport but will I have a problem with something like this?

We bring goodies back all the time.
The chocolate covered pretzels from Goofys and also the caramel covered apples. Oh and the chocolate cupcakes from Earl.

food is okay through security as long as it's not liquid or gel in nature.

We have often brought back the Rice Krispie treats from Goofy's in our carry on. No problem.
