Disney Treasure - Some notes that maybe useful for others

Also just off the Treasure 2/1- 2/8 . Ship is beautiful but felt that the food wasn’t that great in the dining rooms and noticed that Marcelaine market had the same food every day whereas the buffets of the past used to change daily.
Lookout key beach was beautiful, the pier walk wasn’t too bad going to the beach but coming back after a day in the sun wasn’t ideal. I certainly would not find that fun in the summer heat .
The food on the island was not very good. We got too true 2 about 10 minutes after it opened and the burgers were completely cold.
Overall I was not impressed with the food and I’m not usually hard to please I am normally happy that I’m not cooking it and cleaning up after but this was definitely lacking.
I missed being able to walk a loop around the ship outside and found the layout of the ship a little confusing with only certain elevators going to deck 13.
I wasn’t a fan of the many small pools and only one hot tub ( which was people soup whenever I saw it ) for a ship that size is ridiculous
Having said that we did have a great time even though it sounds like I didn’t.
I’m not sure I would sail on the Treasure again I think I would stick with the older ships.

They were considering opening up Palo brunch on port days due to the demand!!

They absolutely did this! We went to brunch on Tortola day, that's the only way we could score a reservation. I've never head of them opening up Palo brunch on port days (other than sometimes Castaway Cay and Nassau on shorter sailings).

I’ve been looking for one of the bunch options and never saw anything pop up (we are silver CC) but I don’t think we can stand in that line to sign up (3 kids traveling/flying in night before close to 10 pm).

I also was on this sailing and agree with a lot of this. Some of the food in Marceline Market did change. Perhaps not the overall offerings, but the flavors of certain things (for example, they had some quiche/tart things that were different flavors every day. I think the Benedicts also changed up a bit).

I don't mind the walk at Lookout Cay, but the walk back on the pier when the sun is right in your face is a bit ouch. The food was awful-lines were super long and disorganized, and the food was all cold and/or not flavorful. Very disappointing, especially because Castaway Cay the next day was great!

I agree, the pool layout is odd. The one hot tub is not big enough, and being right under part of the AquaMouse can be annoying. The adult infinity/illusion pool at the aft of the ship is great, but it's not nearly big enough. They could have expanded the pool and taken out one or both of those water bench things.

I too enjoyed the ship and had a good sailing. I'm booked on the Destiny for January 2026 and can't wait to see it!

It was a long line to wait in on embarkation day, but once they started it moved pretty quickly.

Our last Disney cruise I really wanted to do a tasting but all that was available was whiskey! I hate whiskey but my husband likes it so I went. I took one sip of each-such a waste! But it was informative. I'm hoping next time to get anything BUT WHISKEY LOL

How is everyone dealing with no walking/jogging track for a whole week? 6 days wait to get a seat at the Mansion Parlor seems annoying, no outdoor exercise probably worse for me.

We walked an average of almost 10,000 steps a day just walking around the ship exploring and using the stairs. There is so much to see just walking around

I had a friend who was on that sailing. He said he saw people lining up for one of the Moana showings (I want to say it was the later one) 90 minutes before showtime

Just off on Saturday. We went both matinee’s and when we got to the WDT for Beauty and the Beast 30 minutes before the line was all the way to Skippers Society but we were able to get a good seat. For Moana we got there an hour before it started and there were at least 20 people there ahead of us.

We are on the Treasure right now. We noticed that Marceline Market had the same lunch food on days 1 and 2; we decided to eat in 1923 on day 3.

We spent our late afternoons and late evenings in Skipper Society days 1 and 2. Yesterday we decided to check out the Haunted Mansion Parlor at around 5:30, and there were plenty of seats available.

We attended the early evening performance of Seas the Adventure vs matinee since it was a sea day. Showed up a few minutes before the doors opened; we were parallel to Preludes.

I did wait in line the first night at Mickey’s Mainsail. I got the teal spirit jersey, an inaugural t-shirt, and a magnet. When I went back the next day, all of the teal spirit jerseys were gone.

Wow! I was on the Treasure last week, they pretty much wiped out the stock of teal spirit jerseys on night 1, but when we went back the next day they had restocked and there were plenty (though not in all sizes).

Do some people miss out on watching Moana/Beauty and the Beast because the theatre is full? I can't imagine my children wanting to wait in line for an hour. Cruising should be an easy holiday!

What time are the bars closing? I saw earlier itineraries say 12:30. If so I will be pretty disappointed. I was hoping that the early closing times were because the ship is new. 12:30 is too early in my opinion.

I did the 'early' evening seating (the one opposite early dinner) for Moana last week and walked right into the theater (on the balcony) and found a seat half an hour before showtime. Granted, I was just one person so it made it easier, but I definitely saw several spots with 2-3 seats together. I think everybody heard about the long waits for the evening shows, so then everyone shifted to the matinee, which created really long lines for the matinee but made getting into the evening shows earlier. I wasn't going to go to Moana because I'd heard the lines were an hour long, but I figured I'd walk down to the theater and see what I was up against-turned out to be a big nothingburger, lol.

People get so hyped out about missing out on things at Disney that it creates the artificial inflated demand, which in turn creates other issues. I'm not saying that some things at Disney/DCL aren't hard to come by. But I'm saying in some cases it's turned into frenzies that aren't necessary. (Sorry, I'll get off my soapbox now )

I think 12:30am is generally correct. I know HMP was 12:30am. I do remember an event in Sarabi til 1am.

We went to 3pm and 6pm Moana shows and both had some empty seats, in the back of the balcony and far left and right in the lower level. Not the best views of course.

I found fun walking a full circle around deck 12 after 5:30pm when they have stacked the lounge chairs. Noone around, the sun is setting, the lights are beautiful and you get to see whatever is on the funnel vision for half of the time. More interesting than walking back and forth on deck 4.

We were on the one February sailing also, while the lines are long the Walt Disney theater on the treasure is pretty huge so there was always seating available either up in the balcony or down in the main floor
