Disney Treasure news

Living in California and Arizona and spending a great deal of my childhood in Mexico I might be disappointed in Disney's version of Mexican food. Donald's Cantina isn't bad though. I do like the bowls. The guac is awful though.

I have a feeling she’ll go on time. We are on sailing #2 so I’ve over analyzed the timeline many times haha! If she’s delayed, I think we’ll get the news this week based on what happened with Wish. But I think she’ll be on time. The optics of delaying again aren’t great especially with the Destiny at her heels! But… the Wish sailed not totally done. There was lots of talk that the T wouldn’t have the same Covid delays. I’m less hopeful that the T will be 100% ready but I do think she’ll sail 12/21. Not that I have any influence on the situation hahaha!
I am on the second sailing too!! Did you see they released preview of the Treasure Inaugural Merch today???!!! I am in trouble! LOL

What they released of the menu looks good and shouldn't disappoint you much. What probably will disappoint is when people complain that they can't eat anything at Plaza de Coco because it's too spicy or too "ethnic" or whatever else they will complain about and DCL is forced to dumb down the menu to something that barely resembles Tex-Mex to cater to the masses the way Disney has given in many times before. I just hope they don't start making changes until after our cruise in May.

Yeah I liked what I saw of the menu, but I have few hopes that it'll be that way when we sail the Treasure in August.

I'm optimistic about this one. Mexican/Tex-Mex food is super popular in the US.

Menus always look good that doesn’t mean the food is good quality. DCL food is just okay.

The Treasure seems to be ahead of schedule so I don’t think her maiden voyage will be delayed at all. I actually heard she’s sailing to Port Canaveral from Germany, picking up crew and supplies and then heading to NYC for her Christening November 19th and 20th instead of NYC directly from Germany. Still no word on Godmother of the ship. Obviously things can change but that’s the scuttlebutt.

If she is in NYC I would love to go and take pics of her if possible like I did with the Fantasy back in 2012.
