I am in the process of planning a trip to WDW in early January. I will be flying out of Chicago. This is my first time flying during the winter, but I am trying to utilize the great WDW rates during this time of year. I am a little apprehensive about my flight being postponed or cancelled due to inclement winter weather though (the reason why I have avoided flying during winter vacation for all my life), so I am contemplating getting some form of travel insurance.
Would getting travel insurance for this situation be appropriate? Is this more of a flight insurance issue? Would getting Disney travel insurance + flight insurance be overkill for weather-related issues? I apologize if the answer seems obvious. This is my first time dealing with this issue, so any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you
