Okay, I know this may be an odd one but...
why do the Disneyland and Disney World reservation websites sometimes seem to be run by two different companies?
My kids and I have been to both parks, and I planned our trips online with the Disney Travel Company every time. I've started experiencing California Adventure withdrawals and started working on our trip back to Disneyland, but the website is driving me nuts! There is a lot less information about the on-property hotels readily available. It has been very frustrating trying to ferret out room pricing and compare different amenity levels at the on-property hotels. I also couldn't help noticing the absence of the (wonderful) WDW-style dining plan. Why the lack of consistency between the two?

WDW and DLR are not marketed the same.

In DLR the goal is to get you in the parks to spends money.

In WDW the goal is to get you in the hotels to spend money.

I agree it's much easier to book rooms on WDW.com.

It's much easier to find hours and parade schedules on DL.com.
