Quick question....i think. How is the Disney Transportation to parks, resorts, DD, and Boardwalk? My gf and I have never been to WDW and decided on WDW hotel vs. off site hotel and renting a car.

Unfortunately we're not able to rent and stay at WDW because we're both under 25. Rental companies fees are outrageous and more than the cost of renting a car itself when under 25. I'm only a month away too!!! :o(

How late do buses run from DD or Boardwalk to resorts(ALL-star)? We're hoping to be able to do a little bit of late night partying at DD and Jellyrolls.

Thanks in advance for tips/advice!!

The last DTD busses to the resorts is 2AM. From the resorts to DTD may be around 1AM.

The problem is Jellyrolls. You are better off taking a cab back to the AS. Since all the parks will be closed, to get back to the AS from the BW, you would need to take a bus to DTD and then a bus to AS. So, if you want to stay till closing at JR, you would need a cab back to the AS.

To get to JR, if MGM is still open, take a bus to MGM and the boat to the BW.

IMHO the transportion within WDW is excellent - we never use a car on property and on many occasions don't rent one at all. You will get a transportation guide at check-in with all your options.

You won't have any problem with the parks or DTD as they have specific closing times and the bus routes operate for at least an hour or more after closing (maybe even two hours?).

The only "issue" is between resorts and even still I have never paid more than $15.00 for cab fare within WDW property.

So worst case secerio is to have an extra $20 or more alloted for cab fare and hail one if necessary.

OT - if your thinking of taking mears check out the towncar prices - with a grocery stop and all the time you save it is IMHO well worth any price difference for the sedan.

Have fun.
