Last night I made all of our ADR's for our June trip, including an 8:30 a.m. for the Storybook Breakfast in Norway. princess:

The CM who did my reservations was really helpful-- although, as I've read on the boards, I did have to correct him a couple of times.... that really felt kind of funny.

One thing that he was really concerned with, was the fact that we are depending on Disney transportation, and have this early breakfast set up. He said that early morning transportation is "very limited." I just kind of blew it off, and said "we'll figure it out." I have more faith in getting my answers from Disboards than someone from CRO-- HA!! :rotfl:

So.... we're staying at Pop-- no car, and we have an 8:30 ADR in Epcot.... how would you handle this? I know people do it all the time, but I just want to know ahead of time what to expect... I understand there are early busses just for the character breakfasts-- right?

Thanks! HS

Take a bus to Epcot. That's really the only way I can think of without using a roundabout way of multiple forms of transpo. The busses start running an hour before park opening, so I'd try to be on the first bus out if Epcot opens at 9. But, in an event, definitely allow at least 45 minutes from POP to World Showcase.

Hi...If it was me I would take a taxi. It will be less stressful all round and you will be definitly able to make it.

there are early morning busses for the breakfasts and behind the scenes tours around WDW.

For Epcot, the busses start running from the resorts shortly after 7AM.

FYI.

MK busses start running before 6:30 (because there are 7AM reservations at Chef Mickey's)

AK busses start running at 7AM

MGM busses start running at 7AM (use this bus if you have early morning breakfast ADRs at the BC)

That's what I thought... I was pretty sure some busses started running early enough for the character meals. We have no problem getting up and going early, so I think we'd be fine with a 7 a.m. bus.

In this case, I'm not sure if the CM that I talked to KNEW about the early busses, or if he was just making sure I realized that it might be tricky to get there on time....

In any case, I'll figure it out when I get there, and if all else fails, like someone said, I'll take a taxi if we're running late.

Thanks! :wave2: HS

As I noted in another post.....DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES TAKE TRANSPORTATION INFO FROM ANYONE NOT WEARING THE PURPLE PANTS OF THE DISNEY BUS DRIVERS. I really wish Disney would get their Cast Members together and explain to them what we all know over here on the DIS. That there IS early bus service every day to every park for the various breakfasts around WDW.
I'm very glad to decided to come here for advice. What a great bunch of people on the DIS! :sunny:

If you are really lucky and want to get to your ADR early.....one time my DH and I had 7:30 ADR at Chef Mickey's and we had never been to the Contemporary so we left around 7:00am and we were the only one at the bus stop, the GREAT CM bus driver drove us to the Contemporary. It was wonderful, he talked to us about all kinds of things Disney. He had been a bus driver for over 15 years. Good Luck!!!!!!

I worked Graveyard at one of the Disney resorts (that has exterior buildings)...While out delivering Express Check outs to the rooms I always paid attentions to WHEN the different buses would come through our resort, nothing else to do ;). I never saw the MK bus later than 6:45am and all other park buses were on our resort property no later than 7:05am.

Anyway, Betterlatethannever has the correct info, you should have no problem getting there in plenty of time for your seating :)
