We have a 6:15 reservation and wondering which is the fastest, most efficient way to get from AK park to Hoop De Review show??? How much time should I allow for each mode of transportation?

First timer here and unsure of my way around the land.

Thank you soooo much for taking the time to respond.:)

We're taking the bus to Fort Wilderness from Animal Kingdom park. The park closes at 5 and we're supposed to be there at 6:15, so I figured that should give us plenty of time.

Getting back to your resort is the slow part. I would suggest taking a taxi afterwards. The buses they provide go to several resorts. It took us an hour to get back to CSR!

if you decide to do as a pp said to do on return trip to resort, there is no car parking at HDDR which includes taxis. you would have to take the internal bus to other end of campground to get a taxi. from what I remember, there were not taxis waiting so desk would have to call one for you. plus if you would take a taxi to HDDR, you would have to take internal bus to other end of campground again because of no car parking and this includes handicapped

The only advantage that a taxi has over the bus, when leaving AK, is that you can skip the wait for the bus if the line is long. Both methods require taking the internal bus to Pioneer Hall. A third alternative would be to take the MK bus and then the Ft Wilderness launch, which docks a short distance from the hall. In all cases, I think you would want to be outside the park gates by 5:00.

Thank you everyone for your responses. Forgot to mention that we're staying at Poly, so what transportation would you recommend to get back to our hotel?

Thanks!!!!

Boat to either Contemporary or MK.

From CR, take the monorail to Poly

From MK, take the monorail or boat to Poly. (Another option would be the ferry to TTC and then walk to Poly.)
