Disney transportation in your gown?

Has anyone ever been on Disney transportation (monorail and/or bus) in your wedding gown? How'd that work out for you?


We're trying to figure out some logistics, and your expert advice will help us greatly!

We rode the monorail from the GF to the Contemporary after our wedding.

I had my entire family with me, but the driver let us sit up front with him. It was fun! The MK was getting ready to close, so there were tons of people watching us as we pulled in.

My family went to tell us "bye" but we had alot of fun!

It seems like such a great "Disney" thing to do!!

Has anyone else ever taken the monorail or the buses?!?!?

I think it would be fun at the end of the day but personally I would never risk it before the wedding or ceremony.... just too many things that could go wrong.

After our reception, we took the monorail from GF to Magic Kingdom and then walked down and got on a bus to the resort, in our full wedding attire. It isn't something I would have done before the wedding, but it was a lot of fun. People were very considerate about not crowding up on my dress and we got to ride in the front of the monorail as well...for us, it was sure worth the money saved on a limo!
