disney transportation from coronado

thinking of renting a car, not sure though. will we be wasting time waiting for the bus all the time? how far are the parks from coronado? i'm trying to get a feel where everything is. last time i was at disney was about 10 yrs. ago. thanks!

I wouldn't rent a car if you are only visiting WDW parks and resorts. CSR is centrally located to everything. The longest trip is to Downtown Disney.

CORONADO SPRINGS:
Magic Kingdom: 4 miles
Epcot: 6 miles
Disney MGM Studios: 1 mile
Animal Kingdom: 4 miles

and Blizzard Beach is across the street from CSR.

Don't waste the money!
CSR has the best bus service. It doesn't share a bus with any other resort and has a total of 4 stops in the resort itself.
The amount of time that you waste waiting for a bus would be less then driving, parking, taking a tram and walking to the park entrance.
It is so easy just to get on a bus and not worry, especially at CSR.

I think CSR has one of the best bus service. There was never a time when we had to stay standing up. We didn't have to wait for the bus long.

CSR has great bus service. We have stayed there 5 times and never had a problem. CSR also does not share a bus with other resorts which is a plus in my book!

I agree with what everyone else has posted. With all the horror stories I read about the bus service, CSR was awesome. There was one night that I think the driver forgot where he was going. We were coming back from MK and ended up way out by DTD and then back to CSR....not sure what happened there lol.
