Hi All,

We are travelling to Orlando in a couple of weeks time and are just trying to pin down our plans on our Disney days. We will be using our hotels free shuttle to disney from I-Drive and the times of this are:

Pick Up:
8:10 & 10:00 am

Return:
6:15 & 9:45 pm

The only one I don't think we will be using is the 10am option... that one is rubbish!!

So the hotel shuttle drops us outside of Epcot - and here is my first question. I remember in 2007 it dropped us at Epcot and there seemed to be a central area for all the buses. Is this the TTC or is that somewhere else?

Our plans at the moment for our three Disney days are:

1. 8:10 hotel shuttle to Epcot, bus to Typhoon Lagoon, bus to Hollywood Studios, bus back to Epcot for pick up (and we are now thinking we will get the later return shuttle and head into Epcot for food & fireworks).

2. Epcot day - 8:10 shuttle to Epcot and depending on what has happened on day #1 we will get either early or late return shuttle back.

3. Magic Kingdom Day - 8:10 shuttle to Epcot... and then I think we get a monorail to Magic Kingdom but I'm not sure where to go for this?

Any help on the travel plans for day #1 & #3 would be appreciated - do the buses run park to park or will we have to go via resorts on day #1? How does this monorail I keep hearing about work please?

Thanks in advance,
Fi

Edit to the above - I havenow found a more helpful map and realise that the TTC is next to MK. I assume you get the monorail from Epcot to the TTC but could anyone explain where you go to do this please?

From Epcot you get the monorail to the MK. Just head towards the Ecpot entrance and you will see the monorail station.

From past experience of the shuttle buses expect the return bus to be very busy. I don't think we ever got a seat when we used one on our first trip. There is also very little shelter or seating at the Epcot bus area.

Thankyou - I just don't remember seeing the Monorail station on our trip in 2007 - but we didn't actually go into Epcot and didn't venture past the few benches / drinks machines near the bus area.

The Hotel shuttle is first come / first serve and you have to book yourself on it in advance. The plan is to email the hotel the week before we go to let them know our needs so we should be fine with that - and if not we will have to make alternate arrangements!
