Disney transport between parks

Does the free Disney transport operate between parks? e.g. If I wanted to spend the day at Animal Kingdom and then get to Magic Kingdom for the Electrical Parade can I get a bus between them or do I have to go back to my hotel and then get another bus?

Yes you will be able to get a bus between parks. They are in the area where the hotel buses drop off and are clearly marked with the destinations of each park.

Is this new? Not seen buses run between parks before, in the past it would mean getting a bus to a resort, then getting a bus from the resort to the next theme park you want to visit.

They had them last year at quiet times I only saw one that went from the other parks to the TTC for EPCOT and MK.

I did see one between AK and DHS.

Yes, you can get buses from park to park, although ones going to the Magic Kingdom usually take you to the TTC where you then get the ferry or monorail as though you had parked your car there

Similarly, to leave the Magic Kingdom you can get buses to other parks from the TTC.

You can also get a monorail to Epcot from the TTC, and there is a boat between Epcot and Hollywood Studios (or you can walk between these two).

No No No buses do not run between parks. In order to get from AK you will need to go to a resort. Depending on what time of year you go, AK closes at either 5 pm or 7 pm and the electric parade starts at 9 p.m.

What you can do is take the bus from AK to WL to view electric parade from the boat dock or the beach. or you can take a bus from AK to the Poly and watch the parade from the Poly beach.

Buses do run between parks, we got one 2 weeks ago from epcot to animal kingdom and we saw buses for other parks too.

Yes, there are park to park buses although the buses to the MK actually go to the TTC and from there you have to take the ferry or monorail to the MK.

From AK (or DHS) to the MK it is easier to take the bus to the Contemporary Resort and walk from there to the MK.
