First of all, lemme say Happy New Years!!!! First day of 2014 WOO-HOO!! But I wanted to ask all my fellow teens or pre-teens or adults...however old you are.....why do you love disney? Now this has been asked before I'm sure, but I thought it would be a fun topic!!

Also, once the thread starts going(hopefully it will) I want to ask some more questions I know there is a thread going right now about personal questions...but I thought this would be different since it pertains to Disney moreso of course you can talk about yourself in relation to disney..I don't care!! btw, whoever came up with the getting to know you thread, great idea!!

I originally fell in love with Disney because I grew up watching all of my VHS movies over and over and just loved all of the stories. Once I got older and actually got to go down to WDW, I just fell in love with the true magic of Disney and how it lets me hold onto that piece of my inner child.

My first trip was over my second birthday. I grew up with Disney, and my mom loves it, too, so I didn't really have a chance at not liking it. There's just something about the magic that pulls me in, which never happens with anything else. It's more of a sentimental thing for me. Disney's like a second home.

I love Disney because I grew up with it. I was introduced to it at a young age. How young you must ask? Infancy. That's how young. I grew up with it and still love it. The parks are like my home away from home. I hope they do the $99 deal for the parks this year so I can go again with my family and family coming down from Canada.

The reason I fell in love with Disney was growing up with it. Both of my parents love Disney...so practically from the moment of my birth, my parents were showing me a collection of Disney movies on VHS tapes over and over again. And from my toddler years on, I would watch those VHS tapes (and the occasional DVDs) over and over and I got obsessed with Disney! My first vacation ever was to Walt Disney World when I was just 9 months and ever since then, we have been going back year after year and it is has become like my second home

Disney is genetic lol my parents are both huge disney lifers and they've passed it on to me and my sister. I've gone with my family to WDW every summer the last 20 years. Now that I'm older I now go to WDW with my girlfriend just us 2 and I've turned her into a huge Disney fan

I relate to everyone! I grew up watching the old VHS movies and just loving them....Disney gave me imagination when I was a child of course, my whole family loves Disney but my mom and I are the Disney FREAKS!! My siblings' first movie ever to go see at the movie theater was The Rescuers...so that is a special movie for them!! I too have been to the parks almost every year...when we don't go, we go on a Disney cruise (I absolutely recommend those). Whenever I see a commercial on tv, I always smile and get excited that magic will never leave...Bravo Walt Disney bravo!!!!

So guys, great answers!! Another question: What part of Epcot is your favorite? (For example: Norway or France......) Also, any newcomers can feel free to answer any previous question I have asked as well

I love the Land pavilion. Not only is Soarin' there, but also one of my favorite places to eat: Seasons.

My favorite part of Epcot is The Land! I don't know what it is, but I get such a welcoming feeling every time I go to it! Plus, it is home to The Garden Grill and Sunshine Seasons- two of my favorite places to eat in Disney, one of my favorite attractrions- Soarin', and the awesomeness that is Living with the Land.

I love how everybody posting on this thread thinks exactly like me (or I think like them lol)!! I absolutely love the land....soarin' and living with the land are amazing not to mention the restaurants!!!

The France Pavilion is my absolute favorite. I really like UK pavilion as well. Test Track is my favorite area in Future World. I love the redesign. So sleek. Sorry I feel so out of place not loving the Land haha. It's actually my least favourite. I dislike the architecture and it feels like a crowded mall. Soarin is fabulous tho.

My favorite part of Epcot is the Canada pavilion. I love the Celtic rock band that plays there. I just live the atmosphere of that pavilion. I also live the Italy pavilion. My dad proposed to my mom there. Every time we go, we get a family photo in that exact spot.

DO NOT FEEL OUT OF PLACE!! The Land isn't my fav either because Epcot isn't my favorite park (then again I don't have a fav haha)...but I still love Epcot<3 I love all the pavilions because each one is so unique I haven't been back to Epcot since they remodeled TT....but I have been on a disney cruise so that makes up for it in what ways is the ride better?

I love love Fantasyland. The theming is just magical and I love the attention to detail. For me, it's where I always feel like I'm finally at home. Peter Pan is probably my favorite ride here, although Splash Mountain is my favorite in the park.
