I'm sure I've read a post before that gave info on getting to Seaworld from Disney by bus!

We're staying on site, and are planning on doing just Disney this holiday, but we thought one trip to Seaworld would be nice to just break the trip up a little.

We haven't hired a car and are just using transfers, buses etc so any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

we are planning on doing the same thing :yay: I am going to book a taxi as I want to arrive early !

:fish:

I have just booked a cab from CSR to Discovery Cove - $55 return. Seaworld is just across the road so i would have thought it would be a similar price.

I think that we will just get a taxi as well.

You can get a lynx bus from the TTC, they have a website for info on the routes. It's a cheaper option and they are a frequent service from the TTC about every 10 mins or so last time we were at the TTC waiting for the off- site hotel bus.

In 1998 we took a Mears bus from the Coronado Springs resort directly to Universal. We were given a number to call when we got in the park to arrange our pickup time. I think it was like $12 per person round trip. They told us that Mears stops at all the hotels in the mornings (I think it was on the hour) and shuttles guests to places like Universal and Seaworld. That was a long time ago though! Maybe Mears doesn't offer Disney to non-disney transportation anymore...but it was very easy and convenient and reasonably priced -- so might be worth a check.
Good luck! (- oh...and did you hear about SeaWorld opening a new water park in March of 2008? "Aquatica" -- it looks really fun!!)

We got a mears bus from Pop to Universal last year which was $15 return each, it dropped off people first at Seaworld, you have a choice of times to be picked up and when you want to leave you just call to arrange a pick up time. The hotel front dek arrange it all for you and it is all very quick and easy. :goodvibes

we took the bus from ASMo to MK then the monorail to the ticket and transportation centre then th eLynx bus (I think it was number 50??? but can't really remember) it was $1.25 each each way and got us there in around half an hour, frequent returns as well

i would deffinatly recommend the lynx bus from the transportation centre. Theyre really frequent, and only $1.50 each way (you can get an all day pass if your going to other places). It drops you off just outside the car park so the walk it short too. the website has the time table for all the buses (link 50 goes directly to seaworld)

we might have an xtra day and thought we could checkout seaworld. Is this still the best way to get to seaworld? We are staying at POP. Is the lyxns stop close by to where we can get a taxi or bus back to our resort. I'm confused on that and dont want to be stuck at night. Thanks

or whats the best, easiest inexpensive way to do this. I have a DD(9)
2A and 1 C

From POP take the resort bus to the TTC, then hop on the Lynx 50 - it stops on the road running along side the parking lot at Seaworld, so about 2 mins across the lot to the entrance of Seaworld. :goodvibes

I think you can now get this bus from DTD?

Generally we have taken the bus there in the morning but if staying at Seaworld until night time have taken a taxi back either to the resort or to DTD.

Yes you can we did last month, the pick up point is just outside on the opposit side of road from the Marketplace at DTD, we stayed at pop got free bus to DTD, then walked over road and got bus Lynx 50 direct to Seaworld - buses are every 20 - 30 mins and takes about 10 mins, well worth it and under 6 are free.
